Complex Home Care
Job Ref 26098
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are supporting a kind and thoughtful gentleman on a 2:1 care basis who values quality time with his family. He has a great sense of humour, a positive outlook, and enjoys engaging with those around him.
He has a keen interest in football and horse racing, enjoys keeping up with current events and results, and likes relaxing with a good film in the evenings. He also benefits from regular hydrotherapy sessions and enjoys spending time at his holiday cottage.
He is non-verbal and communicates using eye movement to spell out words. Carers must be patient, attentive, and confident in using the alphabet system to support communication, taking time to build trust and understand his needs.
In the evenings, you will support his night-time routine, including personal care and settling him comfortably into bed, ensuring his safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of someone who greatly values the care, companionship, and dedication of his support team.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
