About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. Every care package is tailored, with a compassionate and skilled team built around each person's needs.

We live by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment.

The Role

We are expanding our Bury services and are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a baby boy with complex clinical needs as part of a dedicated care team.

This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of his journey as he prepares for discharge from hospital and transitions safely into his home environment with his family.

He enjoys social interaction and watching Mickey Mouse Club, and his family's goal is for him to grow and thrive at home, access school in the future, enjoy family outings and holidays, and work towards long-term independence, including potential tracheostomy weaning.

You will provide one-to-one care throughout the day and night, ensuring he remains safe, comfortable, and well supported at all times.

You will play a key role in delivering person-centred clinical care, supporting his daily needs, and maintaining a calm and reassuring environment.

  • Supporting with personal care and daily routines
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Supporting with moving & handling needs
  • Delivering complex clinical interventions as required
  • Maintaining a calm and safe environment
  • Supporting comfort, safety, and wellbeing day and night
  • Contributing to a smooth hospital-to-home transition
    What We're Looking For

  • Confident with medication, personal care, and moving & handling
  • Willingness to support with complex clinical care following training
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital for shadowing and training
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
    What We Offer
  • Competitive pay with enhancements where applicable
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • 24/7 support from a dedicated team
