  • Location: Accrington, BB5
  • Pay Rate: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
  • Shifts: Part time | Days & Nights | 12 Hour Shifts

The Role

We are currently supporting a fun, affectionate, and cheeky man in his forties who lives at home with his family. He has a great sense of humour and enjoys building positive relationships with his care team.

He enjoys:
  • Watching football
  • Listening to music
  • Drawing
  • Spending time with his mum, especially watching soaps together
  • The occasional takeaway and light-hearted banter
As part of a 2:1 care team, you will support him with all aspects of daily living while promoting his independence, safety, and wellbeing.

In this role, you will:
  • Support daily routines and personal care & Administer medication
  • Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe environment
  • Support his clinical needs
  • Provide person-centred care to manage and respond to behaviours that may challenge

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care
  • Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
  • Administering medication as required
  • Assisting with moving & handling
  • Supporting daily routines within a 2:1 care package
  • Monitoring wellbeing and responding to care needs, including behaviours that may challenge
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 months' care experience
  • Confidence in medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
  • Strong communication skills
  • A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach
