- Healthcare Assistant
- Location: Accrington, BB5
- Pay Rate: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
- Shifts: Part time | Days & Nights | 12 Hour Shifts

The Role

- Watching football
- Listening to music
- Drawing
- Spending time with his mum, especially watching soaps together
- The occasional takeaway and light-hearted banter
In this role, you will:
- Support daily routines and personal care & Administer medication
- Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Support his clinical needs
- Provide person-centred care to manage and respond to behaviours that may challenge
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
- Administering medication as required
- Assisting with moving & handling
- Supporting daily routines within a 2:1 care package
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to care needs, including behaviours that may challenge
- Minimum 3 months' care experience
- Confidence in medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
- Strong communication skills
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach
