About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. Every care package is tailored, with a compassionate and skilled team built around each person's needs.

We live by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment.

The Role

We are seeking kind and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a delightful 3-year-old girl in her family home.

She lives with her mum and brother and, although non-verbal, communicates beautifully through her expressions. She has a joyful, playful personality and enjoys cuddles, reassurance, sensory play, music, Disney films, and calm activities such as walks and pampering.

In this rewarding role, you will support her clinical care needs, follow her daily routine, and engage her in activities she enjoys at home and during nursery. You will also assist with her evening bedtime routine and provide overnight care, offering observation and reassurance if she wakes.

We are looking for someone patient, attentive, and nurturing someone who can help her feel safe, happy, and supported every day. This is a truly meaningful role where you can make a real difference in a child's life.

Please note: Candidates must have demonstrable hands-on experience in children's tracheostomy care, including routine tube changes.

  • Supporting complex clinical needs, including:
  • Seizure management and administration of rescue medication
  • PEG feeding
  • Suctioning and respiratory care
  • Assisting with moving and handling
  • Monitoring and responding to changes in condition
  • Supporting engagement in meaningful activities

    What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 3 months' care experience
  • Confidence in medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in children's tracheostomy care
    What We Offer
  • Competitive pay with enhancements for weekends and bank holidays
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
  • Ongoing training and development within a national, values-led provider
Our funded training (including clinical skills) is provided free of charge; however, attendance is unpaid.
