The Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated 2:1 care team, supporting a teenage boy with complex needs in his family home.
He requires full support with all aspects of daily living, as he is non-verbal and non-mobile. Your role will involve delivering both clinical and personal care, ensuring his safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times.
Day shifts may take place at home or in his school setting, while night shifts focus on close monitoring and managing his clinical needs.

- Pay Rate: £13.50 - £18.00 Per hour
- Shifts: Full Time Days: 8am - 8pm | Part Time Nights: 8pm - 8am | Alternate weekends

- Sensory play and musical toys
- Messy play activities
- Watching Disney films (especially The Lion King and Toy Story)
- Trips to the cinema and bowling (when he feels well)
- Supporting his love for Wolves
- Spending time around animals

Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting complex clinical needs, including:
- Seizure management and administration of rescue medication
- PEG feeding
- Suctioning and respiratory care
- Assisting with moving and handling
- Monitoring and responding to changes in condition
- Supporting engagement in meaningful activities
- Working collaboratively with family members and professionals
What We're Looking For - A minimum of 3 months' hands-on care experience, including:
- Respiratory care and oxygen support
- Epilepsy management and administration of rescue medication
- Experience supporting children with complex care needs
- Confidence in medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Comfort working in a pet-friendly environment (dogs present)
