We have a rewarding opportunity for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join a supportive care team, providing 1:1 and 2:1 care for a lady with complex needs in her family home.

Job description
- Healthcare Assistant
- Location: Wigan, WN5
- Pay Rate: £14.00 - £17.50 Per hour
- Shifts: Part-Time | Days & Sleeping Nights | Variety of shift patterns available

The Role

Your role will involve supporting her:
- At home (day and night shifts)
- Within her educational setting
- During respite stays
This role is about more than care, you'll also build a meaningful connection, supporting her to enjoy the things she loves, including:
- Singing
- Baking
- Watching TV
- Disney
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with clinical interventions
- Assisting with moving and handling
- Administering medication
- Encouraging engagement in daily activities and hobbies
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
- PEG feeding
- Oral suctioning
What We're Looking For - Minimum 3 months' care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
- Clear and effective communication skills
- A valid driving licence to drive the client's mobility vehicle
- A compassionate and reliable approach
