The Role
We are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to a bright and engaging young boy in his early teens, living in Leominster with his family.
He enjoys interaction and creative activities as part of his daily routine, and we are seeking caring, reliable individuals who can build positive relationships with him and his family.
You will support him with his complex clinical needs on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, while encouraging engagement in activities he enjoys and supporting access to education.
This is a permanent role offering consistency and the opportunity to become a valued part of his care team. During night shifts, you will remain attentive to his needs, ensuring his safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.

- Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.50 per hour
- Shifts: Part Time | Days and Nights | 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am)
- Contract: Permanent | Includes paid training & DBS

Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
- Administering medication as required
- Assisting with Moving & Handling
- Supporting daily routines and community access
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to care needs
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management
- Bowel care management
- PEG feeding
What We're Looking For - Minimum 3 months' care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (must be able to drive a manual adapted vehicle)
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
