Job description
- Healthcare Assistant
- Location: York, YO61
- Pay Rate: £15.50 - £20.00 Per hour
- Shifts: Part Time Nights (11 - 12-hour shifts)

The Role
We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a fun-loving and energetic young boy in his family home.
He enjoys:
- Outdoor adventures and sensory play
- Listening to stories and being read to
- Music, especially outdoors
- Hydro swimming sessions and horse-riding therapy
- Spending time with his Labrador, Elmo.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night
- Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
- Administering medication as required
- Assisting with repositioning and moving & handling
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to care needs promptly
- Epilepsy management
- PEG feeding
What We're Looking For - Minimum 3 months' care experience
- Confident with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Comfortable working around pets
- A passion for working with children
