Job Ref 25962
Job description
About us
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are supporting a friendly and sociable gentleman who enjoys getting out and about, particularly visiting his local pub to catch up with friends. He is a big fan of quiz shows, with The Chase being a favourite, and has a strong passion for football, especially Manchester City and Stockport County.
We are looking for someone who shares similar interests and would enjoy spending time with him, supporting him to stay connected to the activities and hobbies he loves.
During day shifts, you will provide support with his personal care needs and assist with any clinical care required, ensuring he remains comfortable, safe, and well supported throughout the day.
During waking night shifts, you will support him in maintaining a restful and comfortable night's sleep. He usually settles for bed around 10:00pm, and you will provide support with personal care throughout the night. This will include catheter care and changes, hourly checks, and repositioning every 3-4 hours.
Please note: During day shifts, you will be required to drive the service user's vehicle; therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
