About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.

We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.

Meet Our Client

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated 2:1 care team supporting a bright, independent young man in his 20s with complex care needs in his own home.

He runs his own travel business and enjoys a busy social life, including walks, gigs, coffee trips, and, of course, travel. He has a fun, outgoing personality and is looking for carers who can match his energy and enthusiasm for life.

In this role, you will provide person-centred 2:1 care, supporting his complex needs during the day. You will assist with personal care, medication, and clinical requirements, support him with daily activities and social outings, and accompany him on holidays and trips away, providing consistent care throughout.

You will also support him with social media, technology, and day-to-day problem solving, so being creative and able to think outside the box is important. An interest in activities such as live events, travel, and even cricket would be a bonus.

He has Autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), so an understanding or experience in supporting individuals with these needs would be highly beneficial.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."

  • 3 months' care experience
  • Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence (required for day shifts)
  • Pet Friendly
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
  • Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider
Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
