Job Ref 25904
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client We're looking for kind, compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join the care team for a delightful 3-year-old girl who lives at home with her mum and brother.
Although she is non-verbal, she is very expressive and communicates beautifully through her facial expressions. She loves being around familiar people, enjoys cuddles and reassurance, and has a playful, joyful personality.
Her favourite activities include sensory play, musical and light-up toys, listening to her Tonie box, watching Disney films and YouTube, going on relaxing walks, and enjoying gentle pampering, like head massages and having her nails painted.
During the day, you'll support her with her clinical care needs, help maintain her routine, and engage her in activities she enjoys. She attends nursery during the week, where her care team continues to provide support.
In the evening, you'll assist with her bedtime routine, which usually starts around 6:30-7:00 pm, helping her settle with her favourite teddy and a bedtime story. Overnight, you'll carry out observations, support her clinical care, and offer comfort and reassurance if she wakes.
We're seeking someone who is patient, attentive, and nurturing, someone who will help her feel safe, happy, and supported every day.
Please note, candidates must have proven hands-on skills and experience in children's tracheostomy care, including performing routine tube changes
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client's family have specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
