Job Ref 25877
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
A precious baby boy is preparing to leave hospital and return to his family home in Stockport, and we are looking for kind and caring Healthcare Assistants to join his dedicated care team.
This is a truly special opportunity to support him on this important journey and help him settle into life at home with his family.
He enjoys calming sensory activities, listening to music, watching Bluey, and story time. Your role will be to provide gentle, compassionate overnight care, keeping a watchful eye to ensure he is safe and comfortable, and creating a calm, soothing environment while he sleeps.
Throughout the night, you will support him with personal care, safe moving and handling, medication administration, and the management of his complex clinical needs, while closely monitoring his wellbeing to ensure he remains comfortable, safe, and supported.
Your care will make a real difference to this little boy and his family, helping them to enjoy these precious early moments together at home.
Candidates are required to complete essential training and shadowing sessions at the hospital before our client is discharged home. These sessions will take place during the day.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client's family has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
