Complex Home Care
Job Ref 25810
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are seeking caring, reliable, and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated team supporting a friendly lady with complex care needs in her own home. She has congenital muscular dystrophy, which affects her muscle strength and mobility, and requires ongoing support with daily living and clinical care.
She has a great sense of humour and a wide range of interests. She loves animals, especially small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and mice, and her favourite dog breed is a corgi. She also enjoys jigsaws, board games like Scrabble and Monopoly, and watching TV shows including EastEnders, The Simpsons, and Police Interceptors.
She is a huge fan of Charmed and has an impressive collection of memorabilia from the show. She also enjoys getting out in the community, with activities such as bowling, arcades, and shopping trips. In this role, you will provide person-centred care, including personal care, medication administration, and bespoke moving and handling.
You will also support with clinical tasks such as PEG feeding, ventilation management, and other aspects of her complex care needs
This is a rewarding role for someone who is focused, energetic, and passionate about helping others live full and enjoyable lives.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
