About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.

We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.

Meet Our Client

We are currently supporting a bright and engaging boy in his early teens with complex health needs and are looking for experienced Health Care Assistants to join his dedicated 2:1 care team.

He is non-verbal and non-mobile and requires full support throughout the night, including close monitoring and management of his clinical needs.

He enjoys Disney films (especially The Lion King and Toy Story), musical and interactive toys, messy play such as foam and slime, and outings to the cinema and bowling. He's also a big Wolves fan and enjoys spending time with animals.

He lives at home with his parents, siblings and two friendly dogs, so Health Care Assistants should be comfortable working in a family home and pet-friendly environment.

Applicants must have hands-on experience in:
  • Respiratory care
  • Epilepsy management
  • Administration of rescue medication
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants who are confident supporting children with complex clinical needs and can provide attentive overnight care.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.

This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."

What You'll Need
  • At least 3 months' hands-on care experience, including respiratory care, oxygen support, and epilepsy management with rescue medication
  • Confidence working with children with complex care needs
  • Experience administering medication, supporting personal care, and carrying out safe moving and handling
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Comfort working in a pet-friendly home (dogs on the property)
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
  • Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider
Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
