  • Shifts: Part Time | Days & Nights | 12 Hour Shifts

Meet Our Client

We are excited to be expanding our services in Skelmersdale and are recruiting compassionate, reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a male client in his 50s with complex clinical care needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 2:1, person-centred care within in his own home and in the community. You will play a vital role in supporting his health, comfort, independence, and overall quality of life. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality clinical care, supporting with all aspects of personal care and daily routines, and promoting dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

You will support and encourage meaningful activities at home and in the community, fostering positive, trusting relationships with the gentleman and his family.

Night shifts will involve supporting his bedtime routine, offering reassurance and companionship, monitoring clinical needs, and responding promptly to ensure he remains comfortable, safe, and settled throughout the night.

What You'll Need
  • 3 months' care experience
  • Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
  • Clear communication skills
  • Be happy to travel to Southport spinal unit for shadowing
