Location: Southampton
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week (7pm-7am), alternate weeks
Service Type: Residential Care - Dementia / LD
Requirements: Care Certificate (or willingness to complete)
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Night Health Care Assistant to join our residential service supporting individuals with dementia or learning disabilities. You will play a key role in ensuring residents feel safe, supported and comfortable throughout the night.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high‑quality care and wants to grow within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Providing person‑centred care during night shifts
Supporting residents with personal care and nightly routines
Monitoring wellbeing and responding to any changes
Maintaining accurate care records
Ensuring a safe, calm and clean environment
Working collaboratively with the night team
What We're Looking For
Experience in dementia or LD care (preferred)
Care Certificate or willingness to complete
Reliable, compassionate and committed to excellent care
Ability to work 7pm-7am on a 36‑hour contract
Strong communication and teamwork skills
