Health Care Assistant (Days)

Location: Haywards Heath

Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: £12.45 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join a warm and supportive care home in Haywards Heath. This is a days‑only position offering 36 hours per week within a well‑established service providing residential, nursing and dementia care.

You will play a key role in supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting dignity, independence and high‑quality person‑centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks

• Assisting with mobility, nutrition and hydration

• Providing emotional support and companionship

• Supporting residents living with dementia

• Working alongside nurses and senior carers to deliver high standards of care

• Maintaining accurate records and following care plans

• Promoting a safe, caring and homely environment

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker (preferred but not essential)

• Is caring, patient and committed to high‑quality care

• Can work effectively as part of a team

• Has good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Is reliable and able to work day shifts on a rota basis
