Female Health Care Assistants (HCA)

Location: Tilehurst & Caversham, Reading

Pay Rate: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour

Hours: Full‑time & Part‑time available

Weekends: Must be able to work weekends

Driving: Driver with own car essential

Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement due to service user needs)

Mileage: Mileage payment available

A well‑established care provider in Reading is seeking Female Health Care Assistants to support individuals across Tilehurst and Caversham. We provide high‑quality care to people with Palliative / End‑of‑Life needs, Learning Disabilities / Autism, and Mental Health conditions. We are looking for compassionate, reliable HCAs who can deliver person‑centred support in the community.

The Role

• Providing personal care and emotional support

• Supporting individuals with palliative and end‑of‑life needs

• Assisting people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions

• Promoting independence and dignity at all times

• Travelling between service users' homes (driver essential)

• Working weekends as part of the rota

• Maintaining accurate care notes and following care plans

Requirements

• Female applicants only (due to personal care requirements)

• Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car

• No sponsorship provided

• Experience in care (palliative, LD/autism, or mental health) desirable

• Reliable, compassionate and committed to high‑quality care

• Able to work weekends

• Full‑time and part‑time roles available
