- About The Role

Location: St Austell (community-based, home setting)
Pay: £14.18 per hour
Hours: Waking Nights - 21:00 to 07:00 (twice weekly)
Holiday: 28 days annual leave
We're currently recruiting Complex Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to provide one-to-one care for a young child with significant clinical needs in their family home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every night.
Client's Clinical Needs
The child you'll be supporting has complex and evolving healthcare needs, including:- Nocturnal hypoventilation requiring nightly BiPAP
- Undiagnosed neuromuscular disorder
- Hypotonia and motor delay
- Progressive hypogammaglobulinemia (immunoglobulin injections)
- Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)
- Epilepsy and seizure activity
- Dysphagia
- PEG feeding
- Airway and respiratory management
- Medication administration, including nebulisers
- Oxygen therapy (PRN)

As a Complex Care Assistant / Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care, including:- Airway and respiratory management
- PEG feeding and nutrition support
- Seizure and dystonia management
- Safe medication administration
- Personal care and comfort
- Providing reassurance, emotional support, and social interaction
- Maintaining a calm, safe, and attentive environment overnight
We're looking for someone who is:- Experienced in care (children or adults) or has a genuine passion for caring
- Willing to learn and develop advanced clinical skills
- Calm, compassionate, and positive
- Confident communicator
- Committed to safeguarding and person-centred care
- Reliable, flexible, and dedicated
- Full UK driving licence preferred
