5 day working pattern between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 plus on-call requirements

We're looking for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our team within the Generals Department at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital campus in south-east London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf.

As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer at London Bridge Hospital, you'll be asked to rotate efficiently through our generals departments, covering locations under the London Bridge empire, including our satellite sites, The Shard and Guys Cancer Centre.

Duties & responsibilities:
  • Skilfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating Imaging equipment in accordance with operational procedures and ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
  • Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the correct parties.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency.
  • To rotate between areas as required.
  • Assist in staff orientation and training.
  • Accept and perform non-radiographic duties that are intrinsic to the day to day running of the department, e.g. make appointments, answer the telephone and perform office duties/ IEP
  • Solid experience in the general imaging department including theatres and interventional work
  • Assist with the day to day management of the general department and deputise to the superintendent in their absence

What you'll bring:
  • Degree in Radiography
  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive experience in Plain Film, Theatre Imaging, Mobiles, Fluoroscopy
