We're looking for a Clinical Specialist Mammographer to join our team at The Harborne Hospital.
The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital that opened in Birmingham in 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital has a deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer, Complex surgery and Orthopaedics. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
- Undertake all administrative duties such as bookings and reporting involved in the Mammography service
- Utilise and understand the PACS and DR/CR system.
- Participate in symptomatic breast clinics
- Carry out screening mammography
- Perform General X-Ray and Fluoroscopy as required
- Assist with ultrasounds including procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainages, localisation
- Perform stereotactic biopsies with consultant breast radiologists
- Participate in shifts for evening breast clinics as required
- Participate in the rotation of Mammographers to other sites associated with the facility
What you'll bring:
- HCPC registration
- Relevant post Graduate experience with a PGCert in Mammography/Breast Imaging
- Mammography experience in the UK
- In depth knowledge of processes and procedures in Mammography
- Computer literate - intermediate to advanced level
