Are you passionate about making a real difference in someone's life? Superior Healthcare is looking for Healthcare Support Workers to support a wonderful 7-year-old child living in Ashtead. About the Role

You'll be part of a dedicated team caring for a child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, ensuring their complex health needs are managed while helping them live a happy, fulfilled life.

Clinical needs include:
  • PEG/JEJ feeding
  • Seizure management
  • Ceiling hoist use
What Will You Be Doing?
  • Providing safe, compassionate care tailored to the child's needs
  • Engaging in play and floor-based activities (so you'll need to be physically active!)
  • Supporting their health and wellbeing so they can enjoy life to the fullest
What We're Looking For
  • At least 6 months' experience in a care role
  • Ideally have experience supporting children
  • Competency in PEG feeding, seizure management, and ceiling hoist use
  • A driver's licence (location isn't accessible by public transport)
Shifts & Pay
  • 2 x 12-hour night shifts
  • £15.40 per hour

Responsibilities
  • To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months care experience
  • Experience supporting paediatric clients
  • Experience supporitng individuals with epilepsy
  • Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
  • Full UK manual driving license.
