Business Manager - GP Practice (SW15)
Part-time: 2-3 days per week (maximum)

A well-established, high-performing GP practice in SW15 is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join its friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis.
With a Good CQC rating and a reputation for delivering excellent patient care, the practice benefits from a stable, experienced workforce and a collaborative culture. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role that is being reintroduced as part of an expanding management structure.
The Role
Following the departure of the previous Business Manager, responsibilities have been shared across the existing leadership team. As the practice continues to grow, they are now looking to appoint a dedicated Business Manager to bring strategic oversight and operational strength.
Working closely with the Practice Manager (recently promoted internally) and wider team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and financially sound running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong executive support and organisational leadership
- Oversee and maintain CQC compliance and regulatory standards
- Manage high-level contracts, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Lead on HR functions including policies and workforce management
- Take ownership of financial management, budgeting, and reporting
- Utilise EMIS Web effectively for operational and reporting purposes
About You
- Experienced in primary care or healthcare management
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and compliance
- Confident with financial oversight and reporting
- Skilled in HR processes and people management
- Highly organised with excellent executive functioning skills
- Proficient in EMIS Web
The Offer
- Part-time: 2-3 days per week (maximum)
- Must be available on Mondays
- On-site initially, with potential for hybrid working after probation
- 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
- Salary circa £50,000 FTE (approximately £25 per hour, depending on experience)
