Life Works is a trusted and welcoming private rehab centre in Surrey, near
London, specialising in addiction recovery and eating disorder treatment.
What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The ideal candidate should be educated to GCSE level (Grades A-C) or equivalent and possess excellent keyboard skills, along with an intermediate level of proficiency in standard office applications. They should also have at least one year of work experience in an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational, or other relevant setting.

- Provides efficient and effective administrative and/or secretarial support to an individual or a department, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
- Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
- Updates central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
- Ensures the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.
