Crevichon Ward is a 17‑bedded Adult Acute Inpatient Unit and the only facility of its kind on the island. The team delivers evidence‑based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, working together to support recovery within a compassionate and structured environment. This role offers the opportunity to play a vital part in the island's mental health services.

What you will do

  • Support service users with daily living activities in line with individualised care plans.
  • Monitor and report changes in service user conditions to registered nurses promptly.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with service users and their support networks through effective communication.
  • Maintain high standards of care by adhering to policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Act as a role model, advocating for service users and promoting quality care delivery.
  • Manage your workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet service needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, reflective practice, and service development initiatives.
  • Use healthcare resources responsibly, minimising waste and following safe handling procedures.
  • Support the induction of new staff and share knowledge with colleagues.
