Full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 0900-1730

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our expanding corporate SACT Protocols team. This newly created role reflects the continued growth of our service and our commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care across HCA UK.
As the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist for Cancer Services and Protocol Management, the post holder will have leadership responsibility for the delivery of an effective protocol management service for cancer services
across HCA.
You will work in conjunction with the haematology and oncology clinical leads and the Lead Technician for e-prescribing and Medicines Management to develop the provision of an efficient, high quality, professional and well-coordinated service capable of meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements relating to SACT prescribing and formulary management and the onboarding of genomic testing for HCA UK Laboratories.
This role will support the Lead Pharmacist - Protocol Management and medical, clinical and non-clinical teams across HCA, and you will work closely with all teams to achieve the HCA Cancer Strategy including the further development of the electronic prescribing systems.

What you'll bring:
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent higher degree
- Additional post graduate clinical qualifications e.g. Diploma in Pharmacy Practice, or working towards
- Registration with GpHC
- Independent Prescriber, or working towards (desirable)
- Minimum of 2 years hospital experience in oncology and haematology & proven expert clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge
- Extensive experience working with Information systems and electronic prescribing systems.
- Prior leadership experience, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive service improvements (desirable)
- Demonstratable experience in Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) protocol development and management, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
