The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is a state of the art Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility adjacent to Spire Manchester Hospital. Currently, the team is looking for an experienced Administrator to join us on a full time and permanent basis.
The OrthTeam Centre is a private specialist Musculoskeletal facility, located close to the Spire Manchester Hospital (SMH), to diagnose and/or treat patients in respect of musculoskeletal and neurological outpatient conditions.
Working hours: Varied shifts between the hours of 7:45 am and 08:00 pm. 1 in 5 Saturdays 08:00-16:00 will be required.
Contract type: Permanent, Full-time
As Administrator, you will support the administration of care to patients across a range of specialities including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, neurology, sport and exercise medicine and pain management. The centre offers outpatient consultations, diagnostic imaging and injection therapy services.

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- To answer and take responsibility for all OTC incoming calls, within departmental service level agreements (SLA's) and in accordance with OTC telephony best practice.
- Provide a 'first point of contact' for all persons attending the OTC, in accordance with correct procedures for the OTC.
- To review and respond to enquiries via the OTC Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and from, other on-line platforms; within departmental SLA's.
- Provide all administrative Outpatient clinic functions for both patients and Consultants.
- Day to day management of OTC enquiries from multiple sources, including telephone calls, emails and faxes.
What do you need to have?
- GCSE standard, grades A to C in English and Maths or demonstrate equivalent, which can include work experience
- Previous and relevant experience in a multi-skilled, patient support role
- Experienced and proficient in the use of a PC, to include Microsoft
packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel). - Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
- Professionalism, tact and diplomacy
- Motivated, Flexible and Adaptable
- Experience of using in-house/administration systems such as SAP is beneficial
