Bradley Complex Care provides a specialist service for adults living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental illness or personality disorder. They may be detained under the Mental Health Act. The environment is a unique element of the service at Bradley Complex Care. We provide care in a range of small, shared gender-specific or single person apartments. This allows the treatment and rehabilitation programme to be delivered in a domestic environment which replicates community living more closely. These settings also allow bespoke care to be delivered for the individual. Service users have established care pathways and are well supported by a full complement of multidisciplinary team. You will be joining an established multidisciplinary team and wider network of Consultants in Elysium. The hospital has excellent transport links and is in close proximity to amenities in the region. You will work in a service that delivers evidence-based, individualised treatment programmes designed to meet each young person's unique needs. As a CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will review referrals, conduct admission assessments, and ensure effective management plans are in place. You will lead risk assessments, oversee physical health evaluations, and provide clinical leadership, supervision, and reflective practice for key workers within the team. Your role will include supervising non-training grade doctors and psychiatric trainees, participating in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 6), and supporting cross-cover arrangements for colleagues during leave periods. You will uphold governance standards, maintain accurate records, and ensure culturally competent practice aligned with safeguarding requirements.
