Description
Priory Hospital Altrincham is looking to recruit a Medical Secretary to join the team. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week.

Priory Hospital Altrincham provides expert treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions.

We also provide established, evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder. We also offer private autism assessments for adults and children at Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester .

What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the hospital and particularly the medical team. This will regularly include typing, minute taking, receiving telephone enquiries, diary and appointment management, managing correspondence, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. You will also be required to liaise with other Priory Healthcare sites and departments, Insurers, GPs and Commissioners regarding specific patient details and invoicing.
  • To provide cross cover within specified Medical Secretaries teams, as assigned by your line manager.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • An understanding of medical terminology is required.
