We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Medical Secretary to join our Spinal Team based at The Princess Grace Centre. As a Senior Medical Secretary you'll be responsible for ensuring the continued provision of the highest quality of secretarial and administrative support. Duties will include providing full secretarial support to an Orthopaedic Surgeon, being responsible for the appropriate management of patient appointments, liaising with patients and hospital staff as required in order to facilitate this. What you'll do:<ul><li>Provide full secretarial support to the Consultants practice (including audio-typing of clinical/non-clinical material, reports etc) including those of a sensitive nature, whilst maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>At consultants' request arrange admissions, request investigations and obtain test results using hospital data systems. The Lister Hospital, located in Chelsea has consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology medicine and orthopaedics and surgery. With 60 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patient's needs. Our six-bed critical care unit provides dedicated specialised care to seriously ill patients with a range of surgical or medical conditions. In addition to this we have a 13 bedded acute medical unit. As a Senior Radiographer in MRI, you'll provide a high level of customer-focussed to our patients and service users through high quality diagnostic radiography.
