Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li>Operating the central switchboard system to manage internal and external calls for multiple hospital sites.</li> <li>First point of contact for all switchboard telephone communications, directing calls to appropriate Spire Healthcare hospital staff/departments/key stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensuring telephone enquiries are dealt with in line with the company standards in a professional, consistent and efficient manner, to facilitate smooth communication minimising missed calls.</li> <li>Escalate technical issues or service disruptions to IT or telecoms support teams.</li> <li>In the event of emergency situations responsible for initiating emergency call procedures (e.g. fire, major incident).</li></ul> Who we're looking for <ul> <li>Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, especially during emergencies.</li> <li>Enthusiastic, self-motivated, able to prioritise and work accurately under pressure.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.</li> <li>IT literate with the ability to learn new systems quickly.</li></ul> Desirable: <ul> <li>Previous experience in a switchboard or call centre environment is highly desirable.</li> <li>Proficient in using telephone systems.</li> <li>Experience of working in a hospital environment</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.</li></ul> Working Hours: Shift-work between Monday-Friday. We are seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner to join the Theatre team at our client's Acute Hospital site based in beautiful Bath, Somerset. You will work as a clinical member of the Theatre Anaesthetic team and will be responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality patient-focused care. You may also be required to rotate into Recovery, if required. This is a full-time substantively-employed post, although we are open to hearing from applicants seeking a part-time opportunity This is an award-winning hospital, led by some of the South-West's most experienced consultants supported by 24/7 RMO cover on-site.
