We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team in Gloucester within the Neuro Speech and Language Therapy specialism. They specialise in slow stream rehabilitation where the emphasis is placed on maximising each individual's abilities, comfort and quality of life. Bedrooms are fitted with high dependency equipment, including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment., with all rooms adapted to individual requirements. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities and other facilities such as gardens, gym and minibus.

What you will do

• Deliver specialist skills in managing complex cases and addressing cultural and linguistic diversity, crafting appropriate strategies for effective caseload management.
• Conduct audits and participate in pioneering research to elevate the standards of treatment provision.
• Bring your expertise in areas such as acquired communication and swallowing disorders to deliver outstanding care and therapy.
• Lead the assessment and treatment of dysphagia, ensuring patient and family support is continually optimised.

To be successful in this role, you'll need

• Current HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Proven experience of managing a caseload that involves complex assessments and treatment paths.
• Hands-on experience working collaboratively with families to provide comprehensive care.
• Evidence of continued professional development, underscoring your commitment to staying at the cutting edge of the field.
