Bedrooms are fitted with high dependency equipment, including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment., with all rooms adapted to individual requirements. Building one-to-one rapport with service users, you will encourage engagement and empower recovery. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours (hours are negotiable) Cleveland House is located in Banks, Southport, in the west of Lancashire. It offers residential support for 32 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI), progressive neurological condition (PNC) and associated physical health needs. We are located on a residential housing estate. What you'll be doing You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will also:<ul> <li>Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for speech and language therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication. </li> <li>Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions on an individual or group basis.
