Speech and Language Therapist - Paediatric Acute Dysphagia - Band 6 Your World has a brilliant new opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Acute Paediatric Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist with post graduate experience working with acute paediatric dysphagia. Short term 3mths cover in Acute Paediatric inpatient setting . Tertiary level childrens hospital to cover maternity leave . Majority of work is Dysphagia based therefore paediatric dysphagia competencies essential. Opportunity to join small dynamic team of SLTs with inhouse supervision provided. Work across neonatal , PICU , cardiac , generic wards . 2.5 days flexible. <ul><li>Experience: Ideally recent acute paediatric experience; minimum of 4 years paediatric SLT experience and paediatric dysphagia competencies</li><li>Band: Previously advertised at Band 6 (maternity leave cover)</li><li>Schedule: 5 sessions spread over Mon-Fri</li></ul>Description: You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Glasgow. Pay rate ranging between £27 - £30 P/H per hour depending on experience. The SLT we seek will have previously worked as a post-graduate therapist with paediatrics. They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter. The right candidate must also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
