What you will do:
- Conduct detailed maternity and gynaecological ultrasound scans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with NHS standards.
- Interpret ultrasound findings to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is used safely and maintained to high operational standards.
- Follow infection control and clinical safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
- Degree in Radiography and a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound.
- Strong experience in maternity and gynaecology ultrasound scanning.
- A driving licence is desirable due to travel between multiple sites.
