Essential Requirements * PgC / PgD in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent. * HCPC or NMC registration. * Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience performing independent general ultrasound examinations. * Competency in abdominal, renal, aorta, pelvic, small-parts, neck, and DVT / lower limb venous studies. * Familiarity with NHS RIS / PACS systems and electronic reporting. * Proven ability to work autonomously and produce high-quality diagnostic reports. Desirable * Prior experience working in NHS Scotland or equivalent UK hospital environments. * Previous participation in insourcing or waiting-list initiatives. * Experience supporting weekend or out-of-hours scanning sessions. Programme Details This role forms part of a fully managed NHS insourcing programme to provide extra clinical capacity and support backlog reduction in diagnostic imaging. Work is delivered on-site within existing NHS facilities, following local governance frameworks. Flexible sessional work is available, including weekday evenings and weekend clinics.
