Based within a fantastic Specialist Ultrasound Service in Guildford, this position is ideal for a Sonographer who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position is suitable for a very experienced Specialist Obs/Gynae Sonographer and would accept candidates on a 7 level. The hourly pay rate for this role is £40 - £55 P/H all inclusive. Our Client is looking for candidates who meet all of the below criteria:<ul><li>Extensive experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and relevant professional registration</li><li>Ideally, prior NHS experience, but candidates with private ultrasound experience will be considered</li><li>Be available to commence the role ASAP and commit to the full duration of this contract</li></ul>Is this you? You will be joining an outstanding set-up within a well-known service in Wrexham. The hourly pay rate for this role is £35 - £45 P/H all inclusive. Job Summary: 
 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Sonographer to join the Musculoskeletal Team in Nuneaton. This part-time, ongoing locum role offers flexible working hours and the chance to deliver a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound services across multiple specialisms. If you are HCPC registered and experienced in musculoskeletal and general sonography, this position provides an excellent platform to enhance your clinical expertise while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and independently report on non-obstetric ultrasound examinations, including musculoskeletal (MSK), renal, abdominal, Doppler, and gynaecological scans.
</li>

<li>
Conduct early pregnancy scans within the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit under the gynaecology service.
</li>

<li>
Communicate diagnostic results to patients and ensure appropriate referral pathways are followed.
</li>

<li>
Maintain high standards of patient care and adhere to medical ethics throughout the diagnostic process.
</li>

<li>
Support the clinical training and supervision of ultrasound trainees and newly qualified sonographers.
</li>

<li>
Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities, research, and audit projects.
</li>

<li>
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate diagnostic results.
</li>

<li>
Apply independent clinical judgement in analysing scans, authorising reports, and recommending additional imaging when required.
</li>

<li>
Ensure ultrasound equipment and workspaces are clean, maintained, and safe for use.
</li>
</ul>

Requirements:

HCPC registration as a Sonographer.
</li>

<li>
Proven experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound and general diagnostic imaging.
</li>

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality patient-centred care.
