Main Duties:

<ul>
<li>Conduct specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments for adults with acquired brain injuries, using various sources such as psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report scales, structured observations, and semi-structured interviews with service users, their families, and others involved in their care</li>

<li>Act as the keyworker or clinical lead, coordinating and managing the care of service users in collaboration with your supervisor.</li>

<li>Develop and implement specialist psychological and neuropsychological intervention plans to aid the neurorehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injuries, working as part of a multidisciplinary team and adhering to current evidence-based practices.</li>

<li>Identify personal goals with service users and convert these into specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals, in collaboration with the team.</li>

<li>Deliver a variety of psychological therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions, utilizing different psychological models and modalities (individual, family, and group), and tailor these interventions to the needs of each individual while continuously evaluating their effectiveness.</li>

<li>Provide expert psychological advice for multidisciplinary team formulations, contributing to the development of appropriate therapeutic approaches and intervention plans, and oversee the implementation of these plans in collaboration with other team members.</li>
</ul>

Requirements of the&nbsp;Clinical Psychologist:

<ul>
<li>Hold a degree in Psychology recognised by the BPS for Graduate Basis Registration (GBR) or an equivalent qualification.</li>

<li>Be registered with the HCPC.</li>

<li>Have a strong understanding of relevant legislation concerning the service user group.</li>

Main Duties:

<li>Drive the delivery and enhancement of cutting-edge, evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practices.</li>

<li>Perform in-depth psychological assessments for service users using various methods, including tests, self-report scales, structured observations, and interviews.</li>

<li>Develop and execute tailored psychological treatment plans addressing mental health and adjustment challenges, informed by a multi-dimensional understanding and current best practices.</li>

<li>Offer expert psychological insights to the multidisciplinary team to shape and refine therapeutic strategies and intervention plans, and supervise their application.</li>

<li>Conduct psychological risk assessments and manage risks for service users, providing informed advice to team members as required.</li>

<li>Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support the advancement and quality of clinical services.</li>

<li>Support Service Managers and Regional Managers in service management tasks and provide reports to the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.</li>
</ul>

Requirements of the&nbsp;Principal Psychologist:

<ul>
<li>Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the BPS.</li>

<li>Demonstrate the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex clinical information, and use this to guide effective team collaboration.</li>

<li>Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to handle complex and sensitive issues.</li>

<li>Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage a diverse workload.</li>

<li>Experience in administering and interpreting a variety of psychometric tests is essential.</li>

<li>Have a proven track record in clinical research or audit.</li>

<li>Bring experience in neurorehabilitation and a keen interest in neuropsychology, with a commitment to advancing service excellence.&nbsp;</li>
