As an Assistant Psychologist, you will gain valuable clinical experience while contributing to psychological assessment, intervention, research, and service development within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support research and service evaluation by collecting, analysing, and interpreting clinical and psychometric data, conducting literature reviews, and assisting with report writing.
  • Contribute to the training and support of colleagues where appropriate.

What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

You will have:

  • A strong understanding of psychological theory and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • The ability to build positive therapeutic relationships with service users.
  • Strong written skills, including accurate record keeping and report writing.
  • An interest in research, data analysis, and service evaluation.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to working under the supervision of an experienced and HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist while continuing your professional development.
