The successful candidate will have experience in Pacing Physiology and be able to hit the ground running in this fast-paced hospital environment. They will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including angiography, primary PCI, pacemaker implantation, and pacemaker follow ups. Highly Specialised Physiologist - Echocardiography and Non-Invasive Cardiology London, The Wellington Hospital Full time, 37.5 hours per week Shift times: Monday-Friday Permanent Salary: Competitive dependent upon experience We're looking for a Highly Specialised Physiologist to join our Cardiology team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC. Duties &amp; responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform a range of standard and complex or advanced procedures as requested by the clinician in Echocardiography including Stress Echoes and Bubble studies and preferably one more field of Technical Cardiology e.g. Stress Tests and ambulatory monitoring</li><li>Act autonomously to deliver appropriate and individualised patient care at all times e.g. Anticipating the need for further investigations on the basis of findings from an echocardiogram, stress test, interrogating complex diagnostic data from CRM devices, and carry out reprogramming to optimise pacing/therapeutic functions and clinical outcome</li><li>Support and assist the Principal Cardiac Physiologist and Cardiology Manager in setting local technical standards in echocardiography and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.</li><li>Assist in the day-to-day management of procedures in the cardiology department taking an active role in planning and organisation affecting service outcomes.
