Speech and Language Therapist Your World has a brilliant new opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Acute Adult Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist with post-graduate experience working with acute adult dysphagia. The role is Monday to Friday(Weekdays only) 8:30am-4:30pm. - Inpatient management of acutely unwell patients on general medicine wards, including care of the elderly, cardiac, respiratory, emergency medicine, trauma, and one critical care unit (cardiothoracic) - Assessment and treatment of dysphagia and communication disorders - Ability to work flexibly across other inpatient caseloads as and when the need arises with support, e.g. Acute Neurosciences, Critical Care, Acute Stroke Additional competencies for advanced skills highly desirable - including tracheostomy competencies and videofluoroscopy competencies Description: You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Greenwich. Pay rate ranging between £24 - £26 P/H per hour depending on experience. The SLT we are looking for will have previously worked with adults as a post-graduate therapist. They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter. The right candidate must also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
