As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities in order to measure progression and ensure effectiveness. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth. This role is a part time position of 19 hours per week. 3 days per week. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team at The Chimney's, you will support with mindful practice, high levels of engagement and think on your feet to create activities to aid the recovery for each young woman within their journey. The focus of the service is to enable the young women to work on ways to decrease harmful behaviours and replace them with effective strategies to enhance their lives and help them reach their personal life goals.  About You:You will hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. Ideally, you bring at least 18 months of post-registration experience in inpatient or community rehabilitation, as well as 6 months of prequalification experience in a relevant role. Experience working with individuals with neurological deficits or acquired brain injury is essential, along with knowledge of specialist interventions used in neurological rehabilitation.
