What you will do

• Support the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.
• Oversee the preparation, checking, and dispensing of medicines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety.
• Manage medication stock levels and inventory, ensuring essential medicines are available when needed.
• Provide expert advice and support to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers regarding medicines management.
• Work closely with pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and optimise medication use.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current GPhC registration is essential.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driving licence is desirable for flexibility and travel if required.
