What you will do
• Occupational Therapy Assessments: Undertake assessments and interventions, providing advice, retraining, and recommendations for specialist equipment and environmental adaptations.
• Adaptation Recommendations: Prepare accurate specifications for environmental adaptations under the guidance and support of qualified Occupational Therapists.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with specialist equipment and home adaptations to ensure safe and effective use.
• Mobility Assessments: Conduct mobility assessments and support access to concessionary travel schemes, including Blue Badges, Freedom Passes, and parking bays.
• Resource Management: Ensure effective use of service resources, including time, equipment, and funding allocations.
• Partnership Working: Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Occupational Therapists, housing teams, and partner agencies.
