What you will do
- Clinical Assessment: Deliver specialist assessments for adults with dysphagia and communication needs.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement personalised treatment plans for a range of neurological and complex conditions.
- Caseload Management: Manage an independent caseload across community and hospital environments.
- Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- Supervision: Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to Band 6 therapists.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to professional standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
- HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience: Strong experience at Band 6/7 level, particularly within dysphagia and adult services.
- Clinical Skills: Expertise in managing complex swallowing and communication disorders.
- Leadership Ability: Experience supervising or supporting junior staff is desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
