What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for adults with disabilities, focusing on their needs for equipment and adaptations.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and other professionals to create tailored solutions.
• Ensure all interventions and supports are in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support service delivery and compliance.
• Provide guidance and expert advice on accessibility solutions within housing contexts.
• Engage in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant professional registration.
• Experience conducting assessments relating to equipment and adaptations.
• Knowledge of disability assessment, accessibility solutions, and housing adaptations.
• Strong communication and partnership-working skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work in accordance with legislative and professional standards.
