The Role - More Than Just Case Management
You'll be delivering the full Occupational Health remit, acting as a trusted clinical voice across the site. Expect a varied role where you'll balance clinical expertise with real-world workplace impact:
- Case management consultations and fitness for work assessments
- Issuing fitness certificates and clear, practical management advice
- Writing reports to GPs and specialists in line with the Access to Medical Reports Act
- Responding to client and manager queries with professional, evidence-based guidance
- Delivering health surveillance in line with current legislation
- Supporting workplace medical incidents on-site
- Contributing to training and development of the wider OH team
- Designing and delivering health promotion initiatives
- Maintaining accurate records in line with NMC standards
- Travelling between local client sites where required
What We're Looking For in an OHA
You're a confident and capable Occupational Health Advisor who can operate independently while still being a key part of a wider team.
- NMC Registered Nurse (Part 1)
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma)
- Strong case management experience
- Confident providing clear, written and verbal OH advice
- Solid understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders across all levels
The Setup
- Onsite Ocupational Health Advisor role based in Acton and surrounding areas
- Working closely with the client to deliver a visible and proactive OH service
- A role where you can genuinely influence workplace health outcomes
