To provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients, to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required and to demonstrate a professional, caring and responsible approach to the duties carried out</li> <li>To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, educational and development expertise.</li> <li>To be responsible for the standard of own imaging work and that of other supervised radiographers and students: This standard will be that set by Spire. </li> <li>To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice. </li></ul> Who we're looking for: <ul> <li>A Diploma or Degree in Radiography and is registered with the HCPC.</li> <li>Experience of providing image guidance in theatre, in addition to general X-ray imaging.</li> <li>A willingness to participate in a flexible rota for evening and weekend duties, plus on-call from home.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and a good standard of IT skills.</li> <li>A caring nature with the ability to see each patient as an individual, and to carry out the role with understanding and empathy.</li> <li>A positive and flexible attitude</li> <li>Ideally, at least 1 years post qualification experience. </li> <li>A relevant, UK recognised postgraduate award or certificate of competence in Mammography is desirable but not essential.</li></ul> Contract type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract / 30 hours per week. This would be 1 in 4 weeks, including 1 in 4 weekends.
