This role would suit someone who:<ul><li>Is open to a formalised programme of training to become a DWP approved Functional Assessor.</li><li>Is receptive to ongoing constructive feedback, ensuring our claimants continually get the very best experience.</li><li>Has confidence in their ability to use computers and in learning different software packages to complete detailed, high-quality reports for all claimants assessed.</li><li>Thrives in a working environment that offers structure and the opportunity to use your clinical skills in a different way.</li></ul>This role may not be the best match for you if: <ul><li>You are not comfortable or are unfamiliar with technology.</li><li>You dislike writing detailed reports.</li><li>You prefer a more hands on approach to clinical care.</li><li>You're not looking for a new direction in your clinical career or to embark on period of retraining into a new role.</li><li>You don't enjoy working in an environment with targets.</li><li>You are looking for a fully remote role.</li></ul>What you'll be doing each day<ul type="disc"><li>Carry out a number of person-centred face to face, video &amp; telephone functional assessments.</li><li>Through the assessment process you will ask focused questions, use active listening and critical reasoning skills to gather accurate information.</li><li>Produce high quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants you assess, for submission to the DWP.</li><li>Review evidence, request and evaluate additional evidence when required and clinically triage cases to determine the correct assessment pathway.</li><li>Work alongside other highly experienced clinical colleagues to ensure high-quality &amp; fair assessments for all claimants.</li></ul>Who Were Looking For<ul type="disc"><li>NMC-registered Adult Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD)</li><li>Or HCPC-registered Physio, Paramedic or OT</li><li>12+ months of UK-based post-registration experience</li><li>Excellent communication and strong critical-thinking skills</li><li>Confidence navigating IT systems</li></ul>If you're ready to regain balance without stepping away from your profession - this is your moment.Ingeus is a Disability Confident Employer.
