Paediatric Dietician This locum position is ongoing, and the ideal option would be to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, although the service would consider part-time hours for the right candidate. The Role This varied role includes working with general paediatric clinics: allergy, fussy eating, faltering growth, general weight management and home enteral feeding. To be a driving force for dietetics on the ward, attend ward rounds and advise on appropriate referrals. Providing clinical dietetic diagnostic and treatment services to users with a range of health and social care needs in the community. Job Specifics <ul><li>Remote working would be considered however would need to be disclosed before interview.</li><li>To provide specialist dietetic advice, education and support to patients and their carers.</li><li>To provide specialist advice, guidance and support to other health care professionals.</li><li>To deliver general paediatric outpatient clinics in a variety of community based locations. </li><li>To plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate group-based education in the community setting for required patient groups.</li><li>To manage a caseload of paediatric patients fed via home enteral feeding.</li><li>To deliver dietetic clinics at special schools for home enteral feeding patients. </li><li>To triage and prioritise patient referrals according to department standard and ensure patients receive appropriate dietetic input in a timely manner. </li><li>To deliver group based virtual education sessions.</li><li> To provide dietetic input to the inpatient neonatal unit at Lister hospital and facilitate discharge of patients on home enteral feeding from this setting. </li></ul>Benefits of being a locum through Your World:<ul><li>I will proactively communicate with you, not just when I have a job to offer you.
